My life is a mixture of work and play, and I do both with vigor and passion. I live my life with intensity. I'm strong, active, sensitive, intuitive, and intelligent. I love to move my body, exercise my mind, nurture my soul, and live a purposeful life. I enjoy the learning associated with life's challenges, viewing them as opportunities for growth. I would like to have a special someone in my life who "gets" me (well, ideally, who adores me), and who wants to join me on life's adventure for as long as we both find enjoyment in doing so. The ways in which I fill my days are very rewarding; I do what I do because I love it. I live in an intentional community which strives toward ecological sustainability, and serves as a demonstration model for others. I keep a full life; I'm currently building a timber framed strawbale house, working part-time as a nonprofit administrator and fundraiser, and raising three homeschooled children. In between breaths, if I'm feeling social, I like to engage in great conversation with my friends, organize a party, or let loose my silly side. When I feel more introspective, I like to relax at home and listen to great music, take a walk in the prairie and woods, or let myself get lost in my thoughts. I'm content with the direction my life is headed; I don't have it all figured out just yet, but what's the fun in that anyway? I spend a lot of time thinking about: How to make the world a better and more beautiful place. How to love someone unconditionally. How to be a better person. Design. I'm learning that I'm pretty darn good at using power tools, shoveling gravel around in a trench, and redesigning on the spur of the moment! :) Contact me if you consider the health and wellbeing of the planet to be as important as the health and wellbeing of the human race.
