I may not be a cunning linguist, but I'm a master debator.

So above everything, I love to have fun. I love my friends, I love my family, and I guess I love people in general pretty easily. I LOVE to make people laugh, whether with an intellectual reference to the zeitgeist, a clever portmanteau of names/words (ex: I knew of a girl named Kristin Starr-Spangler, and I always wondered if she married the rapper David Banner if she'd go by Kristin Starr-Spangler Banner), or a "that's what she said" joke (STILL FUNNY after all these years). If you don't think Arrested Development is the funniest (if not the best) sitcom in the history of American TV, then we probably won't click. I'm looking for someone who can keep up. Anyone who can wax poetic on Skinnerian neobehaviorism, then disarm me with a witty Oscar Wilde reference wins the game. Hands down. I'm also all about good spelling and good grammar. I teach this stuff in my spare time, so a pure appreciation for the English language is important to me. You don't have to speak with perfect diction and syntax, that's a given, but an understanding of it is a major turn-on. What else? I love to make music (guitar IS my life). I love to listen to music. I love to watch movies that stretch my imagination or ground me in reality. I love to live. I love to love. I love to go out with my friends and throw back a couple of pints. I love to eat chocolate frozen yogurt, but not as much as I love to ration my tub of fro-yo and deny myself for as long as possible until I can't take it anymore. I rarely rarely get upset, and I always put others before myself (almost to a fault). But with reason. I aspire to the greatness of the archetype of people like Martin Luther King, Jr., Gandhi, and Jesus Christ (although I'm not quite religious), if only for their innate ability to believe in the good of (wo)man and to appeal to the greatness in all humans.
