I am passionate about peace and justice, loving my children, and taking care of the world in which we live. Education is very important to me. By that, I mean equal opportunities for children as well as a love of life-long learning. Being inquisitive and curious about the world around us is what I'd like to share with you. Above all, love and forgiveness make the world go around. Intimacy is important to me in a relationship. Like two best friends who share intimacy on several levels is how I'd like us to be together. I want to communicate with you verbally, emotionally and physically. Recently, I have been getting quite accomplished at yoga. I've been practicing it on and off since I was in college, lo, those many years ago. I am happy to have found such fulfillment in physical activity connected to spiritual thought. I also do Pilates and lift weights. Always, I can't wait for spring to get back on the rivers! While I have won accolades in my work and find that very fulfilling, too, I think you might find it interesting to know that I came in 5th in a winter kayaking race recently and also was awarded a scholarship for voice lessons. A new adventure! I sing in a women's quartet and was recently asked to substitute for the tenor in a men's quartet.
