Pesticides raining down from the sky is quite literal, and I don't mean from planes. Pesticides are all over in the atmosphere. I read an article about minnesota lakes, and they tested many of them. Alot of them tend to have atrazine, one of the most common herbicides used in crop fields. Of course they say not to worry, because it is within safe levels. But it is something to think about.

I wouldn't believe their "safe levels" anyway. What the body can tolerate depends on many factors, including gender, age, weight, percentage of body fat, and just general constitution. Just look at the warning label on any over-the-counter drug -- obviously, if everyone experienced all the listed side effects, it would be pulled from the shelves and lose FDA approval. A drug safe for most can still be dangerous for some, and you don't know if it is safe for you until you take it. Do we want to do this experiment with every pesticide?
